President Barack Obama said yesterday that ideology would not impede scientific reasearch into uses for embryonic stem cells. Why then is the scientific method subjagated by ideology when it comes to global warming?
Lets perform a simple test. Place several ice cubes in a glass, go ahead fill it to the top. Now let it sit there until it melts. Voila, after melting the water yielded from the ice melt no longer reaches the top of the glass. Why is this? Because water when it freezes expands,and when it thaws it contracts.
Please have your global warming friends explain to you how melting arctic ice will raise sea levels if arctic ice displaces more sea water than the resulting runoff will. This can also be shown with snow. It's not unusual to have someone die of thirst when stranded out in the snow. See it takes 10 inches of snow to yield 1 inch of water.
I'snt it amazing how liberals cling to ideology when it best forwards one of their agendas. Someone from our esteemed media should confront Mr. Obama with this dichotomy and see why ideology trumps science in this instance.
